3 Easy Steps Demo Paste Repair Kit:

STEP 1

Prepare the chip, gouge or cleft by using a grinding tool, putty pocketknife, razor knife or other abrupt tool. GRINDING: For harder surfaces or larger repair areas, a dremel tool or drill equipped with a grinding flake may be necessary to achieve optimum preparation.

TONING: Toners are used for shading the Poly Paste color darker or lighter when the colour needs adjustment especially when pure white is used as a starting indicate. Earlier adding goad to mixture add desired amount of Poly Paste in mixing cup provided. Adjust color by adding 1 drib of white or black toner and mix in thoroughly. Check color then add more than white or black in small amounts until desired color is accomplished. Then add catalyst to mixture.

SANDING: For all-time results moisture sand with moisture/dry sandpaper and water (220, 320, 400, and then 600 dust sandpaper.) Annotation: Drip water onto the sanding area with a wet rag while sanding.

1. Fantastic match for my kohler tub

   I had cracks and chips on my tub. This product worked perfectly to fill these in. On the cracks I widened them a bit and then feathered my patch. I cannot tell where I repaired it worked so well. Well worth the few actress bucks.

   The product is exactly equally advertised and is very easy to use. Unfortunately, information technology doesn't fill in very fine cracks which is what I needed.

3. Does a fair task

   I am a handy man but found this kit very difficult to utilize with a below average terminate. I was not able to go it flush with the surface and color matching was just a guess. I also idea the $13 for shipping was extreme making the kit $43.

   Although the color was non an exact match (a little bit lighter), it was close enough to really brand you lot look to find the repair. The kit itself was easy to employ and contained everything necessary to finish the modest repair.

   We had a scrap in a Kohler tub. Kit was very easy to employ. Thought of sanding a tub was nerve wracking, merely followed the instructions and the tub truly looks equally skilful as new. Surface Repair website, ordering, and commitment are all excellent.

7. It'southward OK Good kit

   Color wasn't an exact friction match simply it wasn't a Kohler tub either, simply information technology was supposed to be a Kohler color tub by a 3rd party.

   Good kit for the coin, plenty of cloth for many minor ding type repairs, and it included tint to bargain with the color match issue.

   Great for modest DIY repairs

   The putty matched at the top of the tub but did not look right when I did the repair. It seemed off. Information technology weirded me out. Concluding repair looked good when I glossed it upwards.

   Thank y'all for your purchase. The kit comes with toners. This allows to adjust colors where the tub has colour changes from part of the tub to the other such as in acrylic tubs. What y'all explicate makes sense. Too, the color will change a lilliputian when the hardener is added. When cured difficult the colour will be true again. Sometimes polishing will dissimilarity the gloss to the right await of the color every bit well. Customer Service
